Meet me- Sophia Chevalier
I am the daughter of Walden and Melissa Chevalier. I have lived on my families 6th generation farm my entire life. I have been riding horses since I was 4 and joined the MHSRA at 14. I have purchased 3 horses and goat named Gurttey. Poco is my pole horse, Rumor is my barrel and goat horse, and Katie is my retired barrel horse that sadly passed last year. When I am not rodeoing, I enjoy hunting, fishing, hanging with friends, and helping out on the family farm.

Rodeo
I joined the Missouri Highschool Rodeo my freshman year of high school. I am involved in barrel racing, pole bending, goat tying and trap shoot. I have beat my PR in both poles and barrels and qualified for State. This year I am hoping to beat my PR again and make it to Nationals.
Accomplishments In Rodeo:
- Placed 1st in barrels and poles at our FFA District Fair
- 2nd in Flags at our FFA District Fair.
- 1st in Poles and Flags at the Saline County Fair.

Goals
My goal is to attend Missouri Valley College to major in Agribusiness and be a member of the rodeo team.
I would like to join the Pro Rodeo to eventually earn a spot in the NFR.
My goals after college include working for the family businesses in hopes of taking over one day.
